Whatever the production - from news to commercials - my aim is to make the best pictures possible and make the most effective use of the resources available.
“Michael is a welcome presence on any shoot for his steadfastness in the face of adversity, his humour, durability, great attitude and resourcefulness. He creates some of the best lighting I have ever seen and never ceases to strive for the best outcomes.”

One of the most exciting shoots I've had in a long time! Filming for Darlow Smithson's doc "Lost: The Mystery Of Flight 477" (TX BBC May 30 2010). Filming in an Airbus A320 flight simulator - trying to prove what happens when the airspeed indicators fail. We also shot one of the four main interviews.

The start to the year found me up in Cockermouth filming, directing and editing a documentary for Cunninging Lindsey who, as loss adjustors, were actively involved in the aftermath of the floods. Doesn't sound interesting but staggeringly it was a real eye opener and has received heaps of praise from everyone who's seen it.
