Michael is one of those DPs who seamlessly blends the role of artist and technician. Since going freelance in 1997 he has become highly regarded in his role, with his work broadcast around the world.  His corporate output can be found on the websites of some of the worlds biggest companies.

His CV encompasses every genre and he brings the same high level of creative input to every project - be it a corporate piece to camera, light entertainment show, challenging documentary or drama.

His calm and professional attitude - even in adverse conditions - has made him the favourite DP for many of his clients, with his name on the preferred lists of some of the countries top production companies.

He has gained the respect of his peers for both his artistic abilities and technical knowledge, and it is those combined attributes that allow him to find effective solutions to problems faced by productions large and small.

Michael has embraced the digital revolution (although still enjoys shooting on film) and has used his skills to produce a range of small and large scale projects for some of his corporate clients.

Throughout his career Michael has worked with some leading directors.  He has used those experiences to improve his abilities to help tell stories, allowing him to anticipate what directors and editors need.   It is for that reason that many producers feel confident enough for him to work alone at times, knowing he can direct the action or pick up on crucial storylines.

As well as his work in moving pictures, Michael is a prolific photographer and has undertaken a number of professional stills assignments, some of which included working with some high profile talent.

Based in London, Michael is always happy to meet new clients and discuss new projects.
