I have direct hands on experience with all the following formats:
Arri Alexa, Canon 5D, RED, HDcam/HDcam SR,XDcam HD/EX, DVCPro HD & P2
Digital Betacam, DVCPro, DVcam/Mini DV
Super 16, Super 8
Because of the rapidly changing nature of the industry I made a point a few years ago not to buy any camera kit. That said I've recently invested in a Canon 5D kit primarily to enable me to indulge my passion for taking stills and shooting some more short films but I'm sure it won't be long before I'm using it for work.
Through long standing relationships with a number of the London based hire companies, I can supply a blistering array of equipment at very competitive prices. All the kit is regularly maintained and throughly checked before each shoot with the back up of the countries best technicians and engineers.
I do have my own tungsten lighting kit which comes with 8 heads including 2 x 150w peppers, 800w Tota with chimera and two 50w birdies.
Having been a computer user for 20 years, I have taken to tapeless shooting and editing like a duck to water. I have worked on a wide variety of projects and can advise on the best ways to handle data management tasks on projects big and small.
