Aside from shooting and editing, over the past number of years I have also developed a body of work as a director.
The majority of this has been for corporate programmes and includes work for The NHS Modernisation Agency, The Department of Health, Pfizer, Rexam, BBC Worldwide, The Wellcome Trust, DEFRA, UCB Healthcare and Nestle Waters. The most complex of these had a budget of over £70K.
Although I have never had a broadcast credit as a director, I am frequently seen as a safe pair of hands by producers. On numerous occasions I have been sent out to direct a sequence with junior production teams, often on fast turnaround current affairs programmes where the producer/director is in the edit suite.
