Shot over three nights with virtually zero budget, "The Monster" was my first foray into the horror genre. We shot with an A7sII at 51200 ISO with the camera mounted for a lot of the time on a DJI Ronin.
Filmed in one location in under four hours, this film presented lots of challenges. As with all shorts the budget and issues with sound meant raining back on some ideas. But we still got some great performances.
Shot on a Sony F55 in RAW 2K using Canon Cine E primes.
Aren't we all a bit mad really? We felt like we were but we had a great time shooting it.
Shot on an F900R HDcam with Zeiss Lenses on a Pro35 which explains the slight softness.
Sam Jacksons Secret Video Diary was shot in 2005 and has recently been remastered in HD.
Like all independents, its a labour of love by director Guy Rowland - and went on to get 2nd place at the British Independent Film Awards.
