Directing

Over the years I have worked with numerous incredibly talented directors, from whom I have learnt so much.

To date my directing credits have been exclusively on corporate videos. The projects where for a wide range of clients and ranged in budget from £5000 to £40,000. The clients include the NHS Modernisation Agency, BBC Events, Nestle, and a host of smaller lesser know companies. I have directed many broadcasts sequences for shows like Tonight With Trevor McDonald for ITV and 4 x 4 for the BBC. I have been credited as a shooting AP on episodes of Love Your Garden.

When directing, I draw on all the skills I use as a DP and editor to think about what is required for the edit. My ability to instinctively know what works, what doesn’t and what is possible in the edit allows for an efficient and productive shoot.

Editing

I have been editing professional since my time as an ENG Camera op/Editor. My experience covers everything from short news packages to hour long docs. I am proficient in most of the main editing platforms including Final Cut Pro 7, FCP X, Resolve and Premier.

This page has a couple of examples of my work as an editor and director but please get in touch for links to more recent material that is not currently online.
